Heavy D Dead

The rapper Heavy D has died.

One of the most influential rappers of the 1990′s, Heavy D has died today in Los Angeles. It is reported that he came back from an errand and after walking some stairs felt shortness of breath. 911 was called and he was taken to a nearby hospital (presumably Cedars Sinai) where he later died. It’s also been reported that he had a pulse en route to the hospital. My deepest condolence to the bereaved family and friends. Rest in peace Heavy D!

FMX rider Jim McNeil Has Died

The famous FMX rider Jim McNeil has died.

Date of Death: November 6, 2011

Age: 32 years old

Cause of death: Crashed while training

Venue: The Midway at Texas Motor Speedway

Jim McNeil was from Phoenix, Arizona. He was a five-time XGames competitor as an extreme motorcycle stunt rider.

Jamie Pierre Dead

Jamie Pierre Dead

Pro skier Jamie Pierre was killed in an avalanche on Sunday afternoon in the backcountry of Utah’s Snowbird Ski Area. The Snowbird Ski Area was actually not open for the winter season yet.

The Salt Lake City Unified Police Lieutenant Justin Hoyal said: “We got the call about 3:13 p.m. this afternoon of an avalanche with a victim. We, along with Wasatch Backcountry Rescue, were called to the scene. Once we were able to get to the victim, he was deceased.”

On Jamie Pierre’s Official website, the following message was displayed on the front page: Jamie Pierre 1973 – 2011
The WORLD has lost a legend & a truly Great Human Being. One of the best hearts and minds to ever put on a pair of skis.
Jamie is survived by his wife and two children whom he loved more than life itself. He is also survived by his parents, brothers and sisters and all of us who had the honor of calling him a friend.
He IS truly a good man.

Sarah Burke Dead

Canadian freestyle skier, Sarah Burke has died today Thursday Jan 19, 2012. She suffered a fatal injury while she was training in Utah around Jan 10.

The massive bleeding caused by the rupturing of her vertebral artery led to cardiac arrest.
It is reported that her organs have been donated according to her wishes.
This is a very tragic and sad news.

Sarah was 29. She was a four-time Winter X Games champion.

Whitney Houston Dead in Beverly Hilton Hotel

The Los Angeles Times has reported that singer Whitney Houston has died Saturday February 11, 2012.

Whitney Houston was visiting Los Angeles to attend and perform at Clive Davis’ music tribute.

She allegedly died in her hotel room in the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The cause of death has not yet been released. Stay tuned for more information regarding Whitney Houston’s death.
